“In My House, I Am a Queen” — Regina Daniels Buys New Mansion Amid Marital Turmoil

Nollywood star Regina Daniels has unveiled her newly acquired mansion in Lagos, amid swirling reports of a marital crisis with her husband, businessman and politician Senator Ned Nwoko.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the actress shared photos of the property with the caption:

> “In my house, I am a Queen! Needed a roof over my head, so I got this for me and my family.”

The post came shortly after a viral video surfaced showing Regina in tears, alleging she had suffered domestic violence in her marriage. In the video, she lamented:

> “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my own house, I am a Queen. I can’t take the violence anymore — it’s too much.”

Reacting to the claims, Ned Nwoko denied any wrongdoing, attributing their marital troubles to what he described as Regina’s struggle with drug and alcohol abuse.

In a statement, the senator alleged that her substance use had severely affected their relationship, claiming she had recently turned violent — assaulting three of his staff and damaging property within two days.

He added that he had encouraged her to continue rehabilitation, either in Asokoro or abroad, where she would have limited access to drugs, expressing concern for her health and safety.

Nwoko further alleged that Regina failed to take their son, Moon, to the hospital during a medical emergency, instead confronting a nurse who had exposed her alleged substance abuse. He accused two individuals — Sammy and Ann — of supplying her with drugs and inciting chaos at home during his absence.

He said:

> “Regina was not always like this. Her struggle with drugs and alcohol is the root of our problem. I’ve urged her to continue her rehab, or I fear for her life. Now she’s moved somewhere she’ll have free access to drugs. None of my other wives has ever accused me of violence — Regina is the violent one. She slapped and hit staff, broke windows and cars without reason.

A sober Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital, but instead she threatened to kill our nurse for exposing her drug use. I took Moon to the hospital myself while chaos unfolded at home, led by Sammy, her main drug supplier. Another supplier is a woman called Ann.”
