This Is My Final Warning To You” – Iyabo Ojo Sends Stern Message To Facebook Impersonator

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has issued a strong warning to an individual allegedly running a fake Facebook account using her name and photos to mislead the public.

According to reports, the impersonator operates a blog with over 2.7 million followers, where false stories are shared under the actress’s name.

In a video posted on her official Instagram page, Ojo expressed her frustration over the continued impersonation, revealing that many people wrongly believe the Facebook page belongs to her. She explained that the imposter has been profiting from her image and reputation.

The actress noted that she had previously reported the account to Facebook, but the operator changed the page name to “Iyabo Ojo Lovers” to make it appear as a fan page.

Ojo added that she joined Facebook primarily to expose fake pages and protect her identity. She revealed that the impersonator has been copying and reposting her verified posts to make the fake account seem authentic.

Describing the act as deceitful and malicious, she demanded that the impersonator immediately remove her name and pictures from the page.

She also condemned the widespread issue of online impersonation, noting that several fake accounts on Facebook and TikTok have been posing as her, misleading fans and damaging her credibility.

The actress urged the impersonator and others engaged in similar activities to desist from using her identity, warning that she will take firm action if the fake page continues to operate.

In her words:

> “This message is for whoever is impersonating me and using my name. That page has 2.7 million followers. I have reported it to Facebook, but the person changed the name to Iyabo Ojo Lovers, making it look like a fan page. It’s not mine. I don’t know the person behind it.

“I joined Facebook to track down pages like this. Take my name and picture off that page now because the next time you look for it, it will be gone.

“You’ve built a following using my identity. If you want to be a blogger, create your own brand. Stop copying everything I post and deceiving people. This is my very last warning.”
