Lady Reportedly Summoned by CEO for Eating at the Same Fancy Restaurant as Her Guests

A Nigerian woman, Bimbola Rayale, shared a viral experience where she was summoned by her CEO and scolded for eating in the same upscale restaurant as the CEO and her special guests.
The lady recounted visiting the fancy restaurant on a payday treat when her CEO spotted her and later called her into her office, telling her she had “embarrassed” the CEO by being present in the same establishment.
Rayale was ultimately forced to apologize for the incident.

A Nigerian lady named Bimbola Rayale has shared a startling workplace experience where she was summoned by her CEO for eating in the same fancy restaurant as the CEO and her special guests.

Rayale narrated the incident on X (formerly Twitter) while responding to another user’s story about complimenting their CEO in an elevator.

The Restaurant Incident
Rayale, who used to treat herself to expensive meals on payday, visited a new restaurant called Jevenick on Adeola Odeku in Lagos after hearing positive reviews.

She described the moment she encountered her boss:

“I was about to start eating when my CEO walked in with her special guests. She saw me and was like ‘Abimbola who brought you here?’ I told her I was there by myself and she was like: ‘Wow!’”

The CEO’s Scolding
The encounter did not end there. Rayale recounted the awkward aftermath:

“After lunch, I got summoned to her office, and she started telling me how I embarrassed her by eating in the same restaurant with her and her guests. I had to apologize, oh.”
