Nedu Wazobia: After 13 Years at Wazobia, I Got No Send-Forth

Popular Nigerian media personality and comedian, Nedu Wazobia, has publicly shared his disappointment regarding his departure from Wazobia FM, where he worked for over a decade.

The personality, whose real name is Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, made the disclosure recently while speaking about his career transitions. He lamented the absence of a formal acknowledgment for his long service, stating:

“I worked in Wazobia for 13 years plus and when I resigned, they didn’t even do me a send-forth…”

Nedu’s long tenure at Wazobia FM cemented his status as one of the country’s most recognizable voices in radio.

In other news…. Popular Nigerian singer and music producer, Samklef, has publicly criticized his colleague, Teni Makanaki, following a controversial video she posted online.

HIGHLIGHTS

The criticism stems from a video Teni published earlier, in which she called for the rescue of legendary musician 2Face Idibia (also known as 2Baba), who is reportedly experiencing a marital crisis. Teni’s video notably contained a phrase referencing 2Baba being in “his husband’s house.”

Samklef deemed Teni’s video disrespectful toward 2Baba, a highly respected industry figure. He subsequently took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to sharply rebuke the singer.

In a series of posts, Samklef used highly aggressive and coarse language toward Teni. He questioned her maturity and respect for her senior colleague, demanding the immediate deletion of the video.

Samklef further speculated on the reasons behind Teni’s actions, including suggesting she was being negatively influenced by Davido.

His full comments included phrases such as:

“You are very stupid. 2face na your mate?”

“Are you crazy! Delete this video sharp!”

“Wetin Dey worry you? Davido Dey influence you Abi.”
