Atalanta Coach Hails Lookman After Impressive Display in Draw Against AC Milan

Atalanta manager Ivan Juric has praised Ademola Lookman for his outstanding performance in their 1-1 draw with AC Milan.

The Serie A encounter in Bergamo on Tuesday night saw Samuel Ricci give Milan an early advantage with a deflected effort, before Lookman equalised for Atalanta late in the first half — his first goal for the club since his summer transfer saga.

Juric Showers Praise on Lookman

Juric described the Nigerian forward as a “spectacular player,” highlighting his effort and mentality.

“I think we may have pushed him to play more than he was ready for because we wanted him to build match fitness,” Juric told DAZN Italia.

“He’s a unique character, but both in training and during matches, he’s a joy to watch — truly a spectacular player. He’s a winner, full of determination, and I’m really happy for him. We were just talking yesterday, and he said if he keeps training this way, the goals will come — and today, he scored a fantastic one.”
