The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the venues and dates for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff tournament.
Four nations — Nigeria, Gabon, Cameroon, and the Democratic Republic of Congo — will compete in the mini-tournament, scheduled to take place in Rabat, Morocco, from November 13 to 16, 2025.
The semi-final matches will be held on Thursday, November 13, at the El Barid Stadium and the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex. CAF will conduct a draw on Thursday, October 30, 2025, to allocate match venues.
Nigeria will face Gabon in the opening semi-final at 5 p.m., while Cameroon will take on the Democratic Republic of Congo in the second fixture at 8 p.m.
The final is slated for Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium. The winner will progress to the intercontinental playoffs for a chance to claim Africa’s 10th and final qualification spot for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
