Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has stirred online debate after declaring himself the most famous person in the world, saying he’s even more well-known than U.S. President Donald Trump.

In a teaser shared by Piers Morgan, Ronaldo said, “Do a debate, who is more famous, me or Trump? Worldwide, nobody is more famous than me.”

The Al-Nassr forward also expressed confidence in leading Portugal to World Cup victory, adding, “If Portugal wins, which is possible, it will shock the world.”

Ronaldo, 40, recently extended his contract with Al-Nassr until 2027 as he continues chasing his goal of reaching 1,000 career goals.

Former England striker Teddy Sheringham weighed in, saying Ronaldo is unlikely to go into management after retirement. “He’s far more likely to own a club rather than manage one, like David Beckham,”
