Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore and several lawyers have arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja, awaiting the judgment in the case of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
Trendynobs reports that the court is poised to announce its judgment on the terrorism charges against Kanu on Thursday (today).
Recall that the pro-Biafra leader has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) since June 2021, following his controversial interception and return to Nigeria from Kenya under circumstances his lawyers describe as “extraordinary rendition.”
At the time of filing this report, lawyers including Maxwell Opara and others were sighted sitting in the courtroom, waiting for the judgment.
